I bought a very thick and rather grisly Jack the Ripper graphic novel entitled From Hell. ((They illustrate every darn thing! Even the bit where the guy slices off the woman's *cough* er... chest area, gutted her, cut off most of the flesh from her face and leg and roasted her heart.... yeeee... with interesting bits of info about Victorian London to spare in the 40+ page footnotes.)) I must get the DVD of the movie! My mom made me promise not to buy any more books until after the exams, though. v_v;;
The school concert was okay, I guess. At least it wasn't a flop like last year. Had some fun LPC-ing. ((Lepak, Ponteng, Chit-chat)) Got my ears temporarily disabled by the Head Prefect's singing...
There was a Librarian's lunch thing at the Selangor Club where my drawing book made the rounds at the table because we were whiling the time away and waiting to go home. And Zhao Yuan got isolated and had to sit at an all-girl's table (poor thing ^^''). I ate more dessert than anything else. ~_~; Removed my braces the same day, but I had to return today to get retainers (horrible...)
Oh, Ginger-sai might be interested to know that 'The Cow Story' has become a hit in class... possibly because the english teacher demanded that we memorise a poem for Oral or give a speech and everyone forgot and I had this copy of the first chapter in my file. Back from Penang... all the truck/car/van drivers, motorbike riders and langcha pullers are crazy there... and the roads are WAY TOO NARROW. *shudders* Bought a lot of biscuits and my first One Piece manga (yayyy *glomps Tony Tony Chopper*). The number of foreigners has decreased, all scared off by SARS and 'terrorism threat' no doubt... heh heh. Mostly stayed in the hotel alternately reading, eating, walking on the beach playing with the stray dogs, sleeping, watching cheesy Cantonese dramas (of course!!), and trying to concentrate on malay literature.
I also wilted from overexposure to scary Hokkien lang (aka their dialect.. all I can understand is numbers and 'Eh sai??' 'Beh sai!!!' ['Okay??' 'Not okay!!!'] o_O)

Well... my useless computer is back and feeling fairly well... *kicks it discreetly* It just.... disconnects me from the 'Net every 15 minutes. -_- And, and I've been watching too many cantonese dramas than I should. And I finally touched my gameboy again since about six months ago.

Yes.. anyway...
On Friday Bobo was 'keong gan'ned. (keong gan='rape' ^^;;;;;;;;) The Lidra society had this dumb idea to have a 'people hunt' (not treasure hunt, our illustrious president conveniently forgot and came up with THIS) where the third formers were paired up with one pass between them and then go hide somewhere. The first and second years were divided into groups and were supposed to get as many passes as possible. Bobo and Yangli were smart and couldn't hide quickly enough and were soon becoming a target for all the kiddos. Yangli tossed the pass to Bobo and bade him run for it with the lovely kiddies following him like a conga line. Actually, it was more like "Hey just two of us can't catch him so let's get ten of us insistent little buggers all jump on him left right and center and then snatch the pass from him!" So they did. And ripped his shirt about his left chest area. (Yangli came back to class yelling "KEONG GAN! KEONG GAN!" -_-) Riiiiight... anyway...
The whole of this morning I was gallivanting about KL with my mom taking pictures of just about every old-looking building we came to for a history project. I think we weren't supposed to go down to the riverbank because when the guard came back (probably fell asleep or took a pee) he was blowing his whistle like crazy. We ran for it ^_^;;;

What do you do when people stop you writing erotic novels by taking away your quills and paper and also, you happen to be in an asylum? 1. Write with chicken bones and wine on your bedlinen, and when they take THAT away, 2. write with mirror shards and blood on your clothes, and when they take THOSE away (heh..heh..heh... er... :D), 3. write with your excrement on the walls, and then choke to death on a crucifix. Erm.. yes... I like the inmates. They remind me of the nutty people from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The one who thinks he's a bird is soooo cute... and so is the gay one who likes to wear a dress! And, I, I, I really don't like projects with deadlines, or school.
Over the weekend, we managed to sufficiently screw up our Sports Day (like we do every year, yayy!) and get a holiday for screwing it up (viz., today). Got addicted to Japanese dramas (something else other than anime, eh? =^^='') Nothing much else except ranting, I'm afraid.
